From 1950 to 1954 was held in Mexico, the Carrera Panamericana – a long distance race, which led across more than 3,300 kilometers across the country.
In the last edition of 1954 Porsche started with the little 550/1500 RS Spyder. With its low weight, it proved to be superior to the stronger competitors from Italy and the United States. Hans Herrmann and Jaroslav Juhan managed a 1st and second place in the sports car class up to 1500 cc and together with a third and fourth place overall behind the two Ferrari factory team cars!

The Targa Florio is one of the oldest car race in history, founded in 1906. This t-shirt is dedicated to the 1973’sTarga Florio, the last “real” Targa Florio valid for the sports car world championship. This t-shirt celebrates the victory by Stirling Moss, Carroll Shelby and Jack Fairman in the legendary Aston Martin DBR1 at the Tourist Trophy in 1959. After all the season head to head with Ferrari, the three drivers won the last race at Goodwood. It was the only championship for Aston Martin in the History of the sports car world championship. Contribution came from Graham Whitehead, who gave his paddock to the Aston Martin team to finish the race, after the second team car burned out in the paddock.
